4K BLURAY REVIEW: 'THE SPINE OF NIGHT' (2022) [RLJE FILMS]

The “IMDB” Premise:

Ultra-violent, epic fantasy set in a land of magic follows heroes from different eras and cultures battling against a malevolent force.

Our Opinion of the Film:

“If an extremely violent animated multi-chaptered tale fronted by a consistently naked barbaric woman sounds like it hones a certain appeal then The Spine of Night is a glorious place to start.  A kinetically energized affair, Gelatt and King’s film is only for a niche audience, but there’s no doubt that wheelhouse are in for a hell of a ride.” - Peter Gray (CRPWrites)

THE SPINE OF NIGHT DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD DVD/Blu-ray SteelBook® bonus features include:

·       The Making of The Spine of Night

·       Exordium and Mongrel Short Films

There are three physical options out there for THE SPINE OF NIGHT:

4K STEELBOOK

BLURAY

DVD

It’s up for interpretation to which one is the better design but for myself the 4K Steelbook outshines the Blu-ray and DVD covers to be added to a physical media collector’s collection. Plus you don’t get the not removable Rotten Tomatoes sticker on the bottom of your case.
