SPACE FORCE (2022) - season two (NETFLIX)

THE "IMDB" PREMISE:

"The people tasked with creating a sixth branch of the armed services: The Space Force."

OUR [TO THE POINT] REVIEW:

Space Force was one of the few highlights of 2020 – while most didn’t seem to fall for it as hardcore as myself – I binged the first season, two times straight through and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Now with the return of Steve Carrell’s General Naird for the second season of Netflix’s Space Force, the general audience is curious if it’ll share a similar fate to Greg Daniel’s American adaptation of The Office or the lesser received Parks and Recreation that didn’t have the best first season receptions but became two of the most beloved modern sitcoms to ever hit the air.

So, based on the premiere of season two, does Space Force break that same first season curse? For myself, it feels exactly like how the first season concluded. It’s the same characters – same motivations, same aggravations and most importantly it’s the same brilliant writing. For folks that couldn’t get into the first season I can’t tell you if this will be the season to jump back on board but for the rare few that loved what the first season had going for it (such as myself) and can’t wait to see what other life-altering missions Space Force must take on – Space Force is back for more controlled (?) chaos!

CONCLUSIVE VERDICT:

Thanks For Reading!
