THE PLACE FOR QUICK BITE
WRITTEN BY CONNOR PETREY
Quibi's relaunch of Punk'd has released three prank filled episodes thus far, around six minutes a piece. Neither the first which involved Megan Thee Stallion, a puppy, and a gorilla, or the second which included Liza Koshy, a bat mitzvah, and a bloody nose come off as very comedic. They're over before you know it, and the jokes here really aren't that great, especially when they're not overly impacting the celebrity at hand. However, host Chance the Rapper seems to be having a grand time hosting and it shows most prominently in the third episode. Episode 3 focuses on Adam Devine, a parking lot, and a wrecking ball; this is easily the best episode and the most Punk'd of the bunch. To watch the anger course through Devine as he figures out how to handle the situation is pure Punk'd magic up to the reveal of Chance. One out of three isn't the best ratio, especially when you're paying a minimum of $5 a month (with ads) to watch the show, but for such a short runtime, I don't hate it… it's just certainly not worth any cost of admission.
