GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE (2021)

THE "IMDB" PREMISE:

"When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind."

OUR [TO THE POINT] REVIEW:

Ghostbusters: Afterlife delivers on giving fans of the original exactly what they want while also delivering a really fun and old-school Kid-Led adventure movie akin to films like The Goonies. Fan service elements are a mixed bag and a little too prevalent but the otherwise refreshingly straightforward story, solid humor, and likable characters will make most audience members leave with a smile on their face and maybe even a tear in their eye. A good time at the theaters, makes you feel good about yourself and that does the original justice. That's good enough in my eyes.

CONCLUSIVE VERDICT:
