SOUTH PARK : bigger, LONGER & uncut - 20TH anniversary

RAW & UnEdited
After 22 seasons and one hilarious musical feature film, South Park is still on the air and is expected to premiere its 23rd season in Fall of 2019. Whether the quality is still there is highly debatable however what isn’t debatable is that the movie that spawned an even larger fanbase is celebrating its twentieth birthday today - June 30th.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s feature length adaptation of South Park is truly just an overly long, no restrictions musical episode of the show and it is brilliant. Highly offensive, very clever and filled to the gill with refreshing tunes, “South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut” was made for the fans and certainly not for the faint of heart.
With censorship discussions being the main theme of the film, it’s no doubt that this film was a big “F You” to the parental figures telling the network to take them off the air.
PREMISE: "When Cartman and his friends go see an R rated movie, they start cursing and their parents think that Canada is to blame.”
“South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut” isn’t the duo's first or last venture in feature films with a lot of great comedies coming out through the years: including the Award Winning Broadway Musical, “The Book of Mormon”, as well as ‘Team America: World Police’, ‘Baseketball’, and ‘Cannibal! The Musical’ are just a few of the duos lesser known film record. They’ve also created a few video games throughout the years with the most notable being the 2014 South Park: The Stick of Truth.
If you haven’t yet and enjoy South Park, seek this one out, you won’t regret it, it may even be on a streaming service this very moment...you just have to look and see.
